◎简介
本片是西班牙超现实主义电影大师路易斯·布努艾尔的“宗教三部曲”之一。苦行僧西蒙（克劳迪奥·布鲁克 Claudio Brook 饰）为了靠近上帝，来到人烟稀少的沙漠地带，不顾自己母亲（Hortensia Santoveña 饰）的乞求，站到柱子顶端日夜祈祷赎罪。当地民众感谢西蒙的虔诚，特意建了一个更高的柱子送给他。很多民众听说了西蒙的神迹，不远千里赶来向他祈求帮助，一位被截去双手的农民（Enrique del Castillo 饰）果然见证奇迹，双手重生。魔鬼（比那尔·希尔维亚 Silvia Pinal 饰）化作各种形象诱惑西蒙、侮辱他、冤枉他，甚至将他带去了罪恶丛生的大城市，考验他的意志…… 本片被提名1965年威尼斯电影节金狮奖，并获评审团大奖及国际影评人费西比奖。##### MediaInfo ######
