In a native Alaskan town, a respected actor Iñupiaq becomes a fugitive after a series of violent crimes. Upon being captured, he assures that the Iñukuns, mythical beings of his culture, influenced his actions. The doc is based on the Midnight Son audiobook, which came out in 2019 and was created by James Dommek Jr., Isaac Kestenbaum and Josie Holtzman, who were shedding new light on a real-life mystery that pits Native American folklore against the U.S. justice system.
