Sun Glitter and Other Reflections is the result of an unusual creative journey. Initially conceived as a collection of home-recorded and self-produced songs, the project quickly evolved into something far greater. In a rare turn of events, the album shaped the project before the project itself fully existed — not the other way around. After partnering with the label NUDA for distribution, a live band naturally formed around the music, setting the stage for an album release tour, which kicks off in March 2025 — the day after the record drops. With this album, Sunday,June presents an intimate take on psychedelic music — one that listeners have described in various ways, from « Solar Psych » to Lonerism (Tame Impala, 2012) meets Dreampop. If psychedelia stimulates the mind and dreampop stirs the heart, Sun Glitter and Other Reflections moves seamlessly between the two, creating a unique bond between the listener and the music. Scheduled for release on March 14, 2025, the album was mastered at Crystal Mastering Studios, known for its work with artists like King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, POND, and Courtney Barnett. Leading up to the release, three singles — Summer Without You (Sept 27, 2024), Tunnel Vision (Nov 29, 2024), and Motion Echoing (Feb 7, 2025) — have garnered
acclaim, earning airplay on major Swiss radio stations (Couleur3, GRRIF Radio, 3FACH, Radio Vostok) and gaining traction on influential playlists across Switzerland, France, and the UK, as well as being selected as finalist of the Demotape Clinic 2025 (Summer Without You). To celebrate the album’s release, Sunday,June will host launch parties in
Geneva (Bongo Joe), Lausanne (Prémices Festival), and Paris (Supersonic), followed by a series of shows throughout the year, primarily in Switzerland and France.
