刘继祖（刘德华 饰）是从香港远赴越南公干的记者，在那里，他遇见了名为阮红（钟楚红 饰）的翻译官。一次偶然中，刘继祖出了车祸被捕入狱，所幸得到了阮红的出手相助才免去了牢狱之灾，两人就此成为了朋友。 某日，刘继祖在误打误撞之中走进了示威游行的队伍中去，被误认为是学生运动的领袖而遭到了当地军队的逮捕，被判入狱三年。和刘继祖一起被关起来的，还有阮红的弟弟。为了救弟弟，阮红和刘继祖里应外合，策划了越狱行动，哪知道在此过程中，阮红的弟弟不幸丧生。不知道经历了几番艰难险阻，刘继祖一行人总算抵达了安全地带。##### MediaInfo ######
